Flat Stanley and Uncle Gregory

In February my cousin sent us "Flat Stanley" for one of her twin daughters. We were really excited to have him visit! We started his visit with another special visitor, my brother Gregory. In February he moved from Austin, TX, to Boston, MA. On his way through he stopped at our house and we celebrated his birthday! It's always nice to have him around.

His cake was a bit of a disaster. It still tasted good but it sure was ugly, PLUS those silly Wilton letter kits only come with one "G", so we had to write "Happy Birthday Gredory". He got a good laugh out of it.

Next we took some pictures of Stanley doing some everyday "stuff" around our house. It was pretty windy that day. We thought we left the wind behind when we left Kansas, boy were we wrong!

A little less windy! Isn't our house soooo cute!

My sweet Abby.

Sam taking Stanley on a spin around our court.

The boys love to scooter!

Ethan!

Next we took Stanley to the Battlefield in Manassas. Sam is such a good photo poser. What a goof ball, love this kids sense of humor!

Our final trip with Stanley was supposed to be to the Butterfly Exhibit at the Smithsonian. We got some crummy weather that day and had to cancel. The boys were supposed to act really sad, Joel clearly didn't get the memo, or maybe that IS his sad face!

Having "Flat Stanley" was a lot of fun. I heard that my cousin got a good grade! Glad we could accommodate!!
