As I mentioned last year, Dr. Suess' birthday is a big affair around here! Back at the end of February we had a "character" parade to celebrate the big day. Sam's not much of a "dresser upper" so I knew we had to pick a character that wouldn't require too much. Nancy thought of Harold from "Harold and the Purple Crayon", perfect! I set about making a purple crayon and we bought a big blue shirt to match Harold's jammies. Isn't he cute?!
